Michigan Manufacturing Technology Centers (MMTC)

The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (MMTC) provides Michigan’s small- and medium-sized manufacturers with operational assessment, process improvement training, mentoring services, website technical assistance and market diversification tactics.

- Headquartered in Plymouth, the MMTC has five affiliate offices located in Flint, Grand Rapids, Marquette, Saginaw and Traverse City.

Michigan Alternative and Renewable Energy Center (MAREC)

MAREC provides renewable energy testing facilities to companies and universities across the state:

	- Muskegon, Michigan - Grand Valley State University
	- Lab space
	- Distributive energy center features a 30 kw Unisolar thin film photovoltaic solar roof array, a 30 kw Capstone micro turbine and a Skystream 3.7 wind turbine
	- Michigan Offshore Wind Pilot Project is designed to research to aid in the development of commercial scale energy generation
	- Operational BioMass plant has the capacity to evaluate a variety of anaerobic biodigesters and produce reduced pathogen fertilizer by-products

Technology Assistance Program (TAP)
Administered by MTEC and CMURC, with roots in the University of Michigan, TAP connects manufacturers looking to diversify into technology products manufacturing. TAP also works with university technologies to help them match with a manufacturer who can produce their product.
