After a company attends a state sanctioned summit, the following activities will occur:

• Company will receive a detailed survey to complete. The survey will remain open for two months, but we strongly encourage companies to promptly apply due to limited funding.

• Companies that complete surveys will be reviewed by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation^SM (MEDC) and our industry experts. A company will not be deemed a viable candidate for funding for diversification by the industry experts until the survey is completed. Once completed, they will be eligible for up to $10,000 in a matching-funds grant to be used for re-training of workers and re-positioning of the company. • A recommendation will be made regarding the grant funding by the MEDC and the industry experts.
