After a company has attended a Diversification Summit and completed the Diversification Survey, the MEDC and industry experts will review same. Upon completion of this review, the industry experts will then work with the company to develop a training plan to apply the grant and company match toward the official menu of services.

The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center (MMTC) will serve as the grant administrator and work with the company and industry experts to collect and disperse the grant funds and company match as appropriate and make sure all the necessary paperwork is completed and that the company completes its training plan.

The MEDC and its local partners will continue to reach out to companies that have completed this process on at least a quarterly basis to keep companies abreast of the latest diversification offerings, including matchmaking opportunities, as well as assess company success.
