Michigan Match (MI MATCH)

The Obama Administration recently announced details of a $33 million Jobs and Innovation Accelerator Challenge (Jobs Accelerator) to jumpstart innovation-fueled job creation and global competitiveness. The federal funding opportunity notice (FFO) encourages applications from high-growth clusters in rural, urban and multi-jurisdictional regions across the nation and across all sectors. Winning regions will be able to use the Jobs Accelerator funds to support a wide range of economic and workforce development activities.

Michigan Match (MI MATCH): Jobs and Innovation cluster partnerships will have a strong impact on the states’ economy and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation wants to support this strategic alignment. The MEDC is offering a one-time award of up to 25% of the total amount received under the Jobs Accelerator grant up to a maximum of $500,000.
