WELCOME to MICHIGAN. Willkommenin Michigan.ようこそミシガン州へBienvenueà Michigan. Recepión a Michigan. Benvenuto nel Michigan.密执安欢迎您
We are a large, diverse state. In fact, it is closer to drive from Stockholm to Warsaw than from the western tip of Michigan's Upper Peninsula to the southeast corner of the state. Michigan's immigrant history is as varied as its landscape. Michigan was settled in the 1800s by immigrants from many countries in Western Europe. In the 1900s we welcomed new citizens not only from Western Europe but also from Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe to our state. In the 21st century, we would like to welcome you.
