Michigan Wind Energy

Energy Production

Because wind turbine components and assemblies are so massive, there is significant advantage in having final site locations close to the manufacturing facilities. Michigan's potential wind farm locations offer this proximity, plus:

  • 16,500 megawatt onshore potential
  • over 40,000 megawatt offshore potential
