e-Commerce Selling to China Consumers…Logistics, Warehousing & Fulfillment Inclusive Program for Michigan Companies
Michigan Companies are invited to participate in an all inclusive Business-to-Consumer export opportunity using an e-Commerce solution reaching millions of Chinese consumers with full detail web postings in Chinese language and selling in Chinese currency.
The Export Now option removes the normal barriers with their one-stop management of logistics from the US seaport through customs arrival, warehousing, website management and order fulfillment.
MEDC and Export Now are working in tandem to make this opportunity affordable and accessible. A ‘Pure Michigan’ department will be included in an on-line store that sells only goods from American companies and is embedded in the largest internet shopping network available in China.
PROGRAM SUMMARY
MEDC is offering $1,000 grants to the first 100 Michigan companies that participate. The grants are specifically paid on behalf of the participant to reduce the cost of enrollment in the Export Now program.
Export Now is offering a $1,000 reduction to the first 100 Michigan companies that participate. This reduction, combined with the MEDC grant, allows companies to participate in their first year with Export Now for an enrollment fee of only $3,000 instead of the normal, $5,000 fee for companies outside of the Pure Michigan eligibility program.
Other fees are deducted from the selling price of each product unit to cover tariffs & handling and Michigan companies will receive remittance of all profits from sales in a monthly transfer in US dollars.
