  • Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) Executive Committee

    The overall management and control of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) rests with an Executive Committee consisting of twenty members, appointed by the governor. Specific responsibilities of the Executive Committee are: 
    • Provide policy direction and guidance to the MEDC regarding economic development program and initiatives
    • Approve the MEDC corporate budget
    • Appoint a Chief Executive Officer who administers all programs, funds, personnel and all other administrative transactions of the MEDC
    • Appoint the Secretary and Treasurer
